Jen soon realizes there's a lot more to Gideon's hostile takeover than wanting to be her "daddy". As her legal guardian, he's in full control of her remaining assets plus the income from the show. Jen is quickly shuffled off to the care of a full time nanny, who Gideon had no desire to tell about Jen's real age, while he lives it up.
Between the new car, new wardrobe, and nights out who knows where, Jen wonders if there'll even be enough money left for her to buy a happy meal let alone an age adjustment by the time she's eighteen.
