Sei cries. "Mark! Look!"
Mark in his new form looks at the statue, which now looks like him! However, the gem on the forhead glows, and Mark is returned to his normal - albeit naked - form. As he gets dressed with some cloths in a cupboard, they both hear a voice, coming from the once-again elephant statue. Only it was growing larger, and soon became a full, real-live elephant!
"I have been an elephant since I was carved, and could never enjoy the finer things in life because of it. However, when I traded with you, I missed the power that the form of an Elephant brought me. I shall engineer a comprimise. We shall both become part elephant, part man. The change will take place in 15 minutes, and will take around an hour to complete. We will both have full human hands and be capable of speaking, yet we have the trunk, ears, tusks and tail of an elephant. I shall invoke the spell now. This is your only warning."
"Don't I get a choice?" Protested Mark.
"Don't you remember what it was like to be the elephant? Clumsly, unable to partake in human luxuries, yet feeling so strong and powerful?"
"Well, yeah, but..."
"Then it is settled. Prepeare to have the best of both worlds."
