Before Jess can even walk around, a kindergartener rushes over and pushes her to the ground. The shock of the incident breaks Jess’s tenuous control. As she hits the floor, her bowels empty into her diaper. She gets to her feet, already tearing up.
“Haha, baby pooped!” taunts the kindergartener, pointing at Jess. Jess sniffs loudly, doing her absolute best to hold back the urge to cry. She can’t believe it. She’s supposed to be an adult, but then she messes her diaper without warning? The kindergartener shoves Jess again. The second landing smears the poop in her diaper and breaks her hold on her bladder. Her diaper is promptly flooded with pee.
“I think she peed, too!” says a new kindergartener, walking over. The children point and laugh at Jess in her wet and messy diaper. She gets to her feet. She can feel the diaper sagging under her. A third kindergartener comes up from behind to shove her. The mess in Jess’s diaper spreads further. Finally pushed to her breaking point, Jess lets out a wail. Tears stream down her face as she sobs uncontrollably.
“Stop teasing babies for using their diaper,” scolds an adult voice. Jess is lifted. “Come on, sweetie, let’s get you changed.” As Jess is carried away for her first diaper change in over ten years, she adjusts how she’s being carried so that she can get a good look at her rescuer.
