You decided to wish for a girlfriend. Rolling the dice in your hands, you shake vigorously before freeing the plastic thing to the air. You hope for it to land on a 20, because additional guaranteed special effects are super exciting. But what if it landed in the 8-13 range? Would your girlfriend be a selfish bitch or something? Oh no, maybe you should have started off with a smaller wish. You can undo wishes so you'll be stuck with the girlfriend no matter what. But hey, the only time you could roll a twenty is the first wish of the day, so go big or go home. Wait shouldn't the dice be on the ground by now?
You looked up into the air, and to your surprise, the dice was hanging at the peak of its arc. It's just nonchalantly spinning in the air, letting the sunlight shine through it's transparent plastic, the blue color hue glimmered in your eyes. You hold your breath, as you watched it roll without a care 8 feet above the ground for 20 seconds, but just as you decided that you'll have to try to jump and get it down, it stops. Slowly the gem like dice descended towards the floor, and smoothly placed itself down in front of you.
The numbers are too small to see, so you bent down and picked it up. Examining the gold numbers, you find that the gold numbers say 17. A 17 is a good roll, you sighed a breath of relief, that was nerve wracking but exciting. A normal girlfriend was what you wished for, and it was what you'll get. But the thing is you didn't have an exact picture of her in your mind. Was an existing girl going to be your girlfriend, like an old classmate, or was she going to appear out of thin air?
"Hey silly! Whatcha doing holding that toy like a scared little boy? I'm not going to bite!"
You look up to a cute brown haired girl making tiger claws next to her head. She grinned even harder as you made a surprised face. She then playfully chopped at the air making you step back, causing her to burst out in hearty giggles.
She hugged you with arms around your neck. You could her heart beat and heavy breaths as she smooshed her warm modest breasts into your chest. Once she had recovered her air, she pulled back and asked, "So, ready for our date?"
Staring into her bright green eyes you smiled, "Of course, but why do you always pull these types of pranks on me?"
"Because you make it so easy! I don't know how you survived high school with your scared cat nerves. Bullies must have hunted you down like hunters hunt deer. But don't worry, because now that I, Charlene Briggs, am your girlfriend and I'll protect you from anything!" she jumped and posed like a superhero, her long brown hair flowed in the wind, shining in the sunlight.
It was super cute, she was super cute. It made your heart throb in pain from the sugar she produced. "I LOVE YOU!" you blurted out without a second thought.
She hadn't been blushing, but as your words reached her ears, her grinning face turned a little red. Then really red, totally roses red. Snapping out her pose, she snatched the magical dice out of your hands, " You charmer, good energy but zero creativity. A 8 out of 10 score. I'm keeping your toy until you come up with something better by the end of our date. So.. where’re we going?"
She's a keeper alright. The dice somehow gave you exactly what you wished for, a girlfriend. She's nobody you've met before, a total stranger in fact, but you absolutely love her "Well since you're so energetic, you'll know it when we get there."
"Oh you did not! The place is close by isn't it? I guess it's there!" she points to the new gaming cafe down the street.
"Damn, how did you know?" you pretended to be flabbergasted. Date site check.
"I know everything," she had a smug self satisfied smile, " Just like I know how much you like tabletop games, so come on. The line is only getting longer."
You let yourself get pulled along by Charlene, and in no time flat you were in the cafe. There both of you had fun playing different table top games, and trying sweet pastries. She beat you most in most of the games, but it was only because you were distracted by her joyful antics. She made you laugh and you made her smile. The hours passed by quickly when fun was around, so it wasn't surprising when you both left the cafe to find that the stars were out.
"So want to come back to my place for some extra fun?" you hugged her from behind as she stared at the glimmering sky.
"Fun as in games or 'GAMES'?" she pulled on your embracing arms.
"Definitely the 'GAMES'," you whispered into her ear.
"Sure why not?"
"Really?!"
"That's what boyfriend and girlfriend entails..."
You could see her face but you could feel her smirking. Wow, she was like, WOW. Bada bing bada boom, you both were at your home in no time flat.
Clothes were off, leaving Charlene and you both in underwear in your room.
“So when am I getting my lucky dice back?” you asked her as you sat on your bed.
“The date isn't over yet lover boy,” she threw the dice onto your desk and dived onto the bed.
Everything was peachy, until you noticed the dice floating in the air, spinning it’s mystical roll. Charlene must have accidentally wished for something.
