“Matt Larson and Thomas Gorge?....George? Whoever typed up this file spelled it two different ways somehow....anyway, you ”boys” know who you are. Come in.” The principal called from the other room. Matt and Thomas glanced at each other as they got up to head into her office. Something about the way she said “boys” was...off....
As they walked in Hana immediately pointed to a pair of chairs propped up against the wall across from her desk, which the two boys sauntered over to and sat down.
“So....you two think it’s funny snapping girls’ bras, do you? I heard what you did to Peta.” Hana stated. The two boys mumbled apologies, but Hana noticed a hint of a smirk crossing Matt’s face.
“I’m not the one you should be apologizing to anyway. But I know boys your age have a lot of energy, always running around and getting into trouble. Let’s channel that into a positive outlet, shall we?” Hana said with a smile of her own. Opening up her desk drawer, she pulled out a camera and aimed it at the boys.
“Smile!”
There was a brilliant flash of light, and when it faded the boys were gone. In their place was a pair of nearly identical petite blonde girls, each wearing the black and red cheer uniforms of the high school, complete with pom-poms. They stared at her in silence for a minute, then spoke up.
“OMG, like what did—“
“You do to us!?”
Hana laughed. “Finishing each other’s sentences already? You two clearly have this twin sister thing down pat. To answer your question, like I said before, I channeled all that extra energy you two have into a positive form. You girls are the newest members of the JV cheer squad. Now instead of causing trouble you’ll be running around helping spread school spirit.”
“But—-“ one of the girls started to say, only for Hana to raise a hand and cut her off.
“Ah ah ah. Perky little cheerleaders don’t argue with their principal. If you girls stay out of trouble and do a great job at the next couple pep rallies, I’ll turn you back. Now, aren’t you running late for class?”
Maddie and her sister Tawny hurriedly agreed and rushed out of the principal’s office, Hana chuckling to herself as she watched them bounce over to two of the JV football players in the hallway. Now, who was next on her list?
