Alec raised his voice and screamed into the sky “Possession!” There was a flash of light but it’s no lightning. It’s no trick or glare from the sun either. The light came from him. It sparked like real lightning and shone brighter than sunlight. The energy congealed on his skin. Then suddenly, it jumped into the air and hit Leone square in the chest. After that? Darkness. Not a long one but it sure left a stinging headache as Alec stood from the ground.
Just as he was standing, he felt something different. Something is wrong. He has already stood but his height - it’s low and he reached his peak way too fast. And not to mention, the unconscious body of Leone in front of him. Ha! Serves him right. Alec went over Leone’s unconscious body but when he got closer, it felt like some hard stone got stuck behind his throat. It’s not Leone. It’s him who’s unconscious. He flipped his body over and that’s when Alec saw his different hand and arms. His skin is pale while his finger has calluses on the thumb, index, and the base of his hand. Despite these growths, his hands are smooth to the touch and flow like butter when he traces his hand over it.
These weren’t his hands. No. Alec looked down. This wasn’t his clothes. This wasn’t his body! H- He’s Leone. When he screamed, it’s not his hoarse deep voice, it’s the brat’s high pitch nasally squirmy voice.
No. This can’t be happening. He may be cute now, but he isn't going to be this brat forever. Fuck. Alec crouched on the ground, unsure of what to do next. In doing so, he caught a glimpse of his and Leone’s adventurer card and noticed key changes. Besides Leone’s name, there’s a word that says “(under possession)”. While on his card, his experience is steadily rising while his Mana has decreased by 5. On his skills, he noticed new additions to the once blank section. It details the very same skills Leone had on his card. The skills Leone had is also now his. That would be amazing - if it means he’s not in the brat’s body.
While reading further on the adventurer’s card, Alec didn’t realize that green slime was creeping behind him. It used to jump nonchalantly on the grass when a bright flash of light disturbed its blissful existence. The slime jumped high in the air and hit Alec in his back. The slime dissolved the fabric on his back, but his skin remained unhurt except for a few pinprick stings. Alec turned around, and without even thinking about it, unsheathed the short sword and whacked the slime on its sides. The pop was instantaneous - the slime exploded sending its gruesome innards in an area with some hitting Alec on the skin. It seared on his flesh, but it’s nothing too serious.
Suddenly, a light appeared where Alec hit the slime. A small light condensed on one point and turned into a crystalline green stone. Alec snatched it before it hit the ground and viewed it against the light.
It must be the magic stone the quest paper mentioned. Here’s one and he needs to do thirty-nine more. And it seems the pop from the slime has attracted more of them.
