Fourth of July was pretty much up to standard, especially in Animalia. The fireworks, the food, the inevitable showing off with bad ideas using fireworks. There wasn't too much to cover or report on due to them being expected, but there were a few things worth mentioning.

Hunni Bunni was supposed to meet Jessica's family as well as Shyra, but there was a small hiccup that could be blamed on Hunni's mental problems. She had gotten a little distracted when one person's lawn sprinklers turned on, and in an, not really unexpected, bimbo "impulse", had quickly stripped naked and danced among the sprinklers. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you looked at it, there were no cameras, etc., recording the thing so it wouldn't end up on the internet in general. While it wasn't too bad, the best they could do is hope and pray that Miss Fabina doesn't find out about it.
---
There was also a minor scare when Sophie and Roland brought out an update from Skull Island that one Animalian was diagnosed with Covid-19. But because of the simple fact that it was caught early, and the more robust immune systems of Animalians, things were fairly optimistic about his or her recovery.

Due to Animalia's Comic Convention going on at the same time, there were plenty of people showing off with fireworks in attempts to impress potential bondmates. The occasional, really impressive thing, was at the usual 1%, with the remaining 99% either failing to impress or ending up with them in the hospital for burns.

Probably the biggest thing that happened during Fourth of July was Mr. Hyun's match against a would-be suitor for Ling's heart. It was clear from the beginning when they entered the Octagon that neither of them expected it to be a public match. But Mr. Hyun was able to regain his focus on the match quicker than his opponent. But soon afterward, the fight was seemingly in the suitor's favor, but it was ultimately Mr. Hyun who was the overall victor of the match. While some called it a matchup of Foreman VS. Ali (a reference to the Rumble in the Jungle), others called it Ronno VS. Bambi (in reference to the showdown in the Disney movie).
Afterward, there were a few surprises for Mr. Hyun and/or Ling. The first one was from Chairman Kim, and surprised Mr. Hyun because he and Ling had been granted "diplomatic immunity" and would be permitted to stay in the US for as long as they wanted, much to Mr. Hyun's confusion.
Thurston had rewarded him with a pair of "modern Damascus steel" deer antler sabers. While surprised at the gift, he really did want to learn and accepted the gift.
But Mr. Hyun's biggest surprise would be when he got back to his and Ling's apartment after the match, still somewhat sore from said mach. Apparently Ling had decided to reward him with one of the ways that Animalians seemed to prefer (involving a bedroom), which Mr. Hyun was a little more used to, but was still surprised to see.
