Ruben’s room had tons of Teddy Bears in it. “Wow Ruben, you really like Teddy Bears.”
“I used to like them sure, maybe even a little now. My family just likes giving them to me. Hey Noah can you change into some normal clothes before the switch.”
Ruben unzipped his Teddy Bear Costume and took it to his closet. Ruben pulled out some sweatpants and a t-shirt and tossed them at Noah. “Honestly I am looking forward to getting my body back.” Ruben said.
“I couldn’t agree more.” Noah pulled on his clothes, it felt great to wear something that actually fit. He saw that Ruben was wearing his clothes from Friday evening.
The two removed their heads and switched back to their own bodies.
Once Noah’s head was back on his shoulders he felt terrible. His body was sore and aching. “Jeez Ruben what were you doing all weekend?”
“Oh my family wasn’t happy about the switch and had me shovelling snow and doing chores all weekend.” Ruben said with a smile. “He looked at his own body, but this seems to be well rested, thanks for taking care of it.”
“Whatever.” Noah didn’t care; he was happy to be back to normal.
“Before you leave you can take this” Ruben gave him a small teddy bear.
“Something to remember the weekend.” Noah smiled and took it.
Noah left with Kaylie to head home. Noah got home before his dad and Kaylie's parents.
"Here Kaylie, since I'm not going to be your Teddy Bear, you can have this one.” Noah hands Kaylie Ruben’s Teddy Bear.
“Thanks Noah.”
“Can you watch some TV, I just need to wash my face.”
“Sure, I’ll be right here”
Noah went downstairs to investigate the face paints that Kaylie used. He found the arts and craft box and pulled out the paints. The paint was apparently some type of dye and not really paint. It did say to avoid contact with skin. Noah moaned at this point. “Great so this is going to be really hard to get off”.
Noah grabbed his phone and looked up how to remove this type of dye. He then proceeded to spend an hour trying to wash it off with only slight discolouration.
“Well this is just perfect, my head is now stuck as a teddy bear instead of my body.”
Noah decided to go check on Kaylie. She was just watching some cartoon.
“I thought you were going to wash your face?” Kaylie asked giggling.
“Yeah apparently that wasn’t face paint you used yesterday.” Noah just flopped onto the couch.
Kaylie just started giggling and at this point Noah found it pretty funny too. He figured it would wear off eventually.
