Ty was not sure what to do with Dustin. He guessed he could make him literally everything with his powers, from simply a better person to an animal or even something inanimate. But that was only one side of it. The other one was himself. Even if he changed Dustin, Ty himself would remember what Dustin was before, or even remembering it every time he saw the changed Dustin. And he also didn´t want to kill him.
So it took him nearly an hour to decide what was the best way to deal with everything. He would send Dustin away and not bother to know to where. And if that wasn´t enough he could wish to simply forget about him later, hopefully that would work. But a few changes would be made to Dustin beforehand, and the journey wouldn´t be as nice for him as it could be.
Meanwhile Dustin had send his thoughts in cycles. How was all this possible? It ended in him falling asleep some time later. He was awoken suddenly when Ty closed his door with a loud bang. Now wide awake due to fear what Ty would do, he asked quietly: “What do you want, Ty?”
Ty grinned at him. “Oh, nothing much, just that you go away. Where is unimportant, just far away from me. And I will make sure of that.” Before Dustin could do anything, he felt his body stiffen. He was unable to move or speak now, and panic raised to new heights inside of him.
Ty had planned out what he would change. The first thing would have made Dustin happy, as his lost development returned to him. But what came after that …
Dustin could see in the mirror as his hair become more wild and a light blond color. Then his eyes turned dark brown, his nose widened a bit, and he gained a short beard. If he hadn´t seen this changes, he wouldn´t recognize himself anymore.
Next his clothes changed. He had only been wearing white boxers and a grey shirt before. The boxers grew smaller on his frame and become a simple black speedo, while his shirt turned also black but gained a picture of a big red dragon on his chest. Then other clothes appeared on him. His dark blue jeans remained unchanged as it appeared, while his normally white socks become a dark blue similar to the jeans. His white sport sneakers turned black with red highlights on both sides, while they laces were tightly strapped. Lastly, a pair of red winter gloves appeared on his hands, only for the tips to vanish and the cloth turn into black leather, giving him finger-less gloves.
“You look good there, Dustin. Now a couple of finishing touches and you are ready to go.” Ty said with a grin. Dustin was levitated a bit above his bed before a dark backpack appeared on his back. Unbeknownst to him, filled with most of his clothes, changed to fit the style he was wearing now, and a couple of other things. Next his bed beneath him changed. The frame turned from wood to simply cardboard, becoming a big package, while his bedding turned into padding as he slowly moved back down into it. Dustin would have looked fearful at Ty, but his face was still frozen. Just a frozen statue. Ty had forced his body into a straight lying position, with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
When Dustin laid in the package, the whole thing including him started to get smaller, until it was as big as a shoe-box, leaving him to maybe a sixth of his original size. Ty then moved and lifted the box up on Dustin´s desk and looked down at him, still grinning. “Oh, you are ready to be send off, my dear foster brother. Don´t worry, you will turn back to your normal size once you are removed from that box. Have a nice life somewhere else then, I will just close the lid and send you off.”
Ty placed a pillow on top of the box, and it started to change as well. Most of it became more padding, so Dustin was cushioned from all sides, while the pillowcase turned into a fitting lid for the box, sealing Dustin in darkness. Ty made sure the box was sealed off completely, even wishing for it to be soundproof. Dustin wouldn´t have any idea what happened around him until the lid was taken off again, that was for sure now.
Dustin just laid in the darkness, not even able to blink, panic consuming his mind. What would he do when he arrived wherever Ty would send him? He would need to find a way back home, that he was sure off. But while he laid there, slowly a few changes happened to his mind, as Ty made sure to never see Dustin again. Dustin would keep his name like it was, but to him his parents would have died some time ago, leaving him alone in the world. He would be able to understand whatever language was spoken wherever he landed, and be able to speak it as well. His desire to return home vanished, as he forgot where he had lived before. Ty himself vanished from his memories mostly, only a vague picture remained of the boy who used a trick to pack him into this box.
As Ty was satisfied with Dustin´s state of mind, he send the package off to a post office somewhere else. He made sure it would get a random stamp to be send off, and that whoever got the package in the end would open it and take Dustin out. Yes, Ty wanted Dustin gone, but not to remain a small figurine in eternal darkness.
The package vanished before Ty, just as wished, and it soon gained a stamp to send it to ...
