Katie was about to use the sword again as soon as she finished catching her breath to see Lynne and Morgan beside her.
"Keep back, I don't want you two to have to hurt yourselves anymore." Katie urged.
"Katie, you don't understand. Magic is never just powerful enough with just one person. It takes the bonds of family to make magic stronger." Morgan said as her body began to glow bright light.
"As corny as it sounds, it's also stronger when you have friends at your side to help you." Lynne added as her own body began to glow.
"But that doesn't mean you can only rely on those of the present. You can also count on those who carry on the legacy of magic in the future..." Anjelica added.
"...and of those who carry the legacy of magic in the past." Merlin finished as both Merlin and Anjelica's bodies glowed a bright white light and Villar watched as their light began to glow brighter and brighter until an enormous flash blinded his vision and when he opened his eyes again he saw not any of the people who stood before him, but this time one enormous being standing in what looked to be a white suit of armor with the wings of an angel.
"Villar, prepare....to see....the light!!!" The being shouted with the voices of all of the magic users at once as Villar felt the full force of their power overpowering the last of his physical body and his last thoughts before he perished was: 'They did it. They found a source of magic greater than my own. I've died by most worthy adversary and I....am happy.'
The blinding white light faded as the fused figure defused back into Merlin, Katie, Lynne, Morgan, and Anjelica. All five of them came over to see the crater where Villar had once stood to see that absolutely nothing remained of him. No skin, no bones, there was absolutely nothing.
