Lana took a big puff of cigarette number five before grabbing her plate and dumping it out in the trash.
“You put those out, right?” Lucy asked.
“Yeah I put’em out.” Lana replies.
The fireball erupting from the trash said otherwise, the girls screeching as it swallowed the curtains.
“And that’s how the fire started?” The fire fighter asked.
“.... Yes.” Lana replied, blushing at her own shortsightedness.
“Lana!” A voice called from a nearby car.
Out strolled a girl with short brunette curls that went over one eye, dressed in slacks and a white collar shirt with a sweater vest.
“Where were you last night? And what happened here?!” She yelled.
“I was with my new boyfriend, sis.” Lana sighed.
“And if you wanna know how it happened, ask Smokey the ass slapper!” Lucy snapped.
“Hitting on people when you have a boyfriend and setting his apartment on fire? Typical.” The girl huffed. “What kind of no life street trash are you going out with this time?”
“Excuse me?!” Lucy snapped, “Colin’s a nice, sweet guy working hard to get his bachelors!” Lucy snapped. “Who do you think you are anyway?!”
“Ah Boy, here we go again...” Lana said with an eye roll.
The brunette huffed, “If you must know, my name is Sierra, I graduated top of my class, I qualify as a CIT, I’ve got an internship at a law firm...”
“Yeah, classic know-it-all.” Lana cut off.
Sierra scowled at her, ready to snack her in the face.
“And what about these girls?! Who are they anyway?!”
“Samantha here, we’re friends of his.” The blonde amazon stated, “And we hang out at each others’ houses.”
Sierra glared, “Well you won’t mind if I come over for dinner then, will you?”
“If it’ll shut you up, fine!” Lana yelled.
“Alright, but you’d better be back at the dorm!” Sierra yelled.
“Whatever, fine!” Lana yelled.
Sierra drove off as Sam pulled her phone out and started texting.
“Who’re you texting?” Lana asked.
“Colin and Jamie, so they know about the fire... and our little dinner date.” Sam said with a glare.
“What the hell were you thinking?!” Lucy yelled.
“She’s always been Mom and my step dad’s favorite, always acting like she’s better than me...” Lana said as she gritted her teeth.
“And?” Christina said.
“And I’m sick and tired of this shit! I’ll show her! I’ll put together my own damn dinner! And it’ll be better than any of that vegan shit she throws out!” Lana yelled with a fist slam.
“How are we gonna do that?!” Lucy yelled, “you burnt the kitchen down!”
“Leave zis to me.” Marinette smiled.
