Half an hour later John arrived. Luke had begged for some raw meat and was now sitting on the ground ripping it apart while Kevin watched and Mike walked in cycles.
Seeing Luke, John smiled. “At least one likes the present.” Luke didn´t really noticed, however, still eating. “It´s interesting, but I want my son back, John” said Mike.
John turned to Kevin. “Would you like a pet?” Kevin looked at him with a gleaming face. “That would be cool, but dad doesn´t want one.”
John smiled at him before turning back to Mike. “How is that, if Luke wants, he remains a wolf for a couple of days and is partly your pet, and then I change him back?”
“No, change him back now, John. I want my son back.” Mike said with, sounding final. “Dad please” said Kevin, while Luke finished his meat before looking up. “Hi… yip… uncle Joofhn.”
John had to act in a way. But seeing Kevin´s hopeful gaze and Luke´s satisfied grin, he decided to do what he wanted from the beginning and not what Mike wanted. He got out some bottles out of his bag, asking Kevin for two cups and a bowl.
“That will change what´s needed.” He said while filling the bowl with a black liquid and the cups with a clear one. “And that will calm your nerves, Mike.”
No one asked what the liquid was, but Luke easily moved over and sipped out of the bowl on the ground while Kevin and Mike took the cups. As all three were drinking, each one’s gaze turned a bit empty.
With a grin, John started to speak to Luke first: “Luke, you are now a tamed wolf and the family pet of the house. So you act as it mostly, even when you know you had been human. To you, Kevin is not only your brother, but also your master, and whatever he says is right. You also listen to Mike and me, but while you are obedient to all three of us, only Kevin has full authority over you.”
Next, he turned to Kevin. “Kevin, Luke is now your pet brother. Whatever you say to him he will do, but you don´t intent to harm him, as you still love him dearly.” Finally, he turned to Mike. “Mike, you have no problem with Luke being your pet son, and are happy for both him and Kevin to get along. You also don´t intent harm to Luke, who will listen to you and be obedient. But you are a bit more strict with him now.”
For all three of them the commands John had given sunk in, and all three nodded. While the clear liquid had only made Mike and Kevin easily suggestible, the black one Luke had sipped also had some extra latex in it, which would remain under his tongue. It would react to a couple of commands, which he would tell them in a moment.
When the effect of the liquid vanished, all three looked calm. “Thanks for the collar for Luke, uncle John.” Kevin said.
“No problem, Kevin. But there is a thing you need to know about the collar. If you want to or need to muzzle Luke, you can do so by saying “Luke is muzzled”. You can undo it by “Muzzle off”. That´s for outside mostly, if someone complains. You can also silence him by saying “Silence, boy”. Then he can´t even bark anymore. If you say “Don´t speak, boy”, it will result in him only being able to make fitting wolf-noises, covering his human voice. When you say “Speak, Luke”, it will result in him speaking like he is now, mixed between wolf-noises and human speech. And if you say “Clearly, Luke”, he will be able to speak clearly like a human as it covers his wolf-noises. Each command can be overwritten by any other of them.” John had made a short pause between each command so they could see the effect on Luke.
While John explained, each command took hold on Luke. First the latex in under his tongue expanded out and around his muzzle, connecting to the collar and forming a tight muzzle around his. He tried to say something, but couldn´t even open his muzzle anymore. As fast as it appeared, it receded back when the right command was given, returning back under his tongue. His mostly happy “woof” about it being away was cut short as he was silenced completely. As much as he tried being loud, no sound left his muzzle.
Then his voice returned in full wolf-noises, leaving him barking and yipping as to show a bit of protest. Next it changed back to what it was since last night after his changes, and Luke stopped protesting for now. It felt somewhat natural to him this way. Finally, the last command was given and John was done explaining. “So, I can speak clearly, cool” came Luke´s reply from between them. Even if the mix felt natural, he also felt a bit annoyed from his own barking and yipping every other word already.
“Good to know” said Kevin, while Mike nodded before saying: “Then we can make him silent if needed be or understand him better.” Both smiled at their pet. And Luke grinned back happy.
