Soon, John left them again, and Kevin took the leach John had hung near the door unnoticed before he left. “Let´s have a walk, Luke” Luke obediently came over. Kevin put the leach on him and then they moved out.
“You seem to like that collar, Luke.” Kevin said after a minute outside.
“Yeah. Mostly because I´m able to speak normal with it. The barking gets annoying between the words. I hate the muzzle through, it’s so tight.” Luke replied earnestly. To each of them the collar was what accepted the orders, as neither Luke nor Kevin and Mike know about the latex hidden under his tongue.
Someone walking by looked confused at them. Who had been answering the boy?
But Kevin and Luke remained lucky, nobody asked them why Kevin walked a wolf or why he wasn´t muzzled.
Returning home, Kevin gave Luke a chew toy, which John had also left behind, before watching some tv. Luke played mostly silent with his toy for an hour. He also played some time with Kevin outside later.
When after dinner and an relaxing hour watching tv Kevin went to bed, Luke wanted to follow, but Mike was against it. “While you are Kevin´s pet, I don´t allow you to sleep in his room. You can sleep in your own room.” Even if Luke was their pet, his old room was still his. “But I want to be with my master.” Luke answered.
It went back and forth for five minutes before Mike had enough of it. “Don´t speak, boy” was ordered, and Luke´s complains switched completely into barks. “Now stop complaining and go to your room, Luke.” As this was a command, and Luke was obedient to commands, he went to his own room, still barking a bit angry. With a sigh, Mike decided he didn´t want to hear their pet the whole night, and ordered “Silence, boy”.
The rest off the night was spent in comfortable silence for Mike, and both he and Kevin slept peacefully. Luke took some time to fall asleep, silently complaining in his mind, before he felt asleep late.
