The faun hopped down and trotted over to a massive black minotaur who was standing ready to haul luggage. "Say, Grug. You still want to be a hairless ape?"
Grug raised his heavy brows. "Yeah. You got an opening?"
"Come over to the bar." The faun went back and hopped up on a stool. "Just sent a kid back to the worker area already changed. I'm positive he'll be there at least a couple of days, and if my guess is right, he's gonna end up as a server. Best of all, he was into minotaurs as soon as he arrived here. His family took off on a tour, and they'll be back soon. But they wouldn't be all that surprised to find a bullish son."
"Can you give me enough of him to be convincing?" The minotaur looked doubtful. "If he just got here..."
"Oh, ye of little faith!" The faun chuckled. "Not only did I turn him ugly and part beast, the important stuff is copied in a spell. You up for it?"
"Sure! What do I have to do?" The minotaur started to get excited. After 200 years of servitude, he might get a chance to explore the outside world!
"Come back behind the counter - this is one change we don't want advertised." The faun waited until the bull man was crouched and hidden from view, then took the muzzle and planted a firm kiss. The minotaur rippled and shrank suddenly, fur mostly vanishing as the massive body dwindled down to a form that looked almost exactly like Derrick had when he first came over. Small horns were budding on the boy's forehead, his face as a little pushed out, and he had a bull's tail and sexual equipment. Those were quite obvious as he was still naked. The faun grinned. "Perfect! Go over and wait for 'your' parents and sister - they'll see the bull parts and think that's the change. "
"But Janie will..." The 'new' Derrick stopped, his eyes widening. "That's my sister! I know stuff! School and friends and growing up!"
The faun grinned. "Yep. It's not perfect, but you have enough of the basics to pass as Derrick for the next two weeks. When their vacation is over, you should be able to take his place."
"Only if he stays happy as a server." The darker, hairier Derrick frowned.
"So then you'll still have spent two weeks as a guest instead of serving others."
That made the boy grin, and he nodded. "Yeah! Look at the bright side!" He strode over to the Reception area just as the Tour came back. The faun watched, chuckling as Derrick's parents and sister 'recognized' the boy and chided him for his new animal parts and nakedness. It only took a few minutes before the Receptionist and 'Derrick' had pointed out that change was what the resort was all about. The whole family was soon heading for their vacation suite, with the new 'Derrick' completely accepted.
