"Well, while you're looking at that, I'm going next," said Hannah, picking up the die and rolling it. It landed as a five.
"Right," she said, moving her counter five squares along, then, reading the text on the square, picked up a card. She read aloud:
You have a choice to make
Worry not, you can't yet lose.
Do hooves or claws suit you better?
You, and only you must choose.
"Right," said Hannah. "That's not much of an instruction. What do I do?"
"Got it!" said Terry. "That card gave you a choice between... two options... so..." he flipped through the rulebook. "...so you just, say out loud 'I choose' and then whichever one you choose. So," he continued, putting down the rulebooks, "you say 'I choose hooves' or 'I choose claws'."
"Voice recognition?" said Sue. "This game looks quite old."
"Well it can't be, can it?" said Dave.
"Quiet," said Hannah. "I'm trying to think..."
