Jennifer had braced herself for screams as she skittered down to the floor, fully expecting panic and fear from Samantha. If need be, she was ready to fire off some of her silky webbing to restrain the young woman, at least until she could be calmed. Yet there was no freakout or fainting from her assistant as she approached - a surprised gasp, and reddening of her cheeks, but the blonde made no movement to flee nor any loud noises of shock. Instead, she spoke up quietly, in a tone that seemed to almost hold reverance for what her eyes beheld. "I... I had no idea, Miss Langford..."
"I... wouldn't really expect you to." If anyone was surprised here, it would have been Jennifer, simply from Samantha's apparent lack of shock. "You're... you're taking this remarkably well," she pointed out, adjusting her arms slightly to better retain what bit of modesty she still possessed. The jiggling of her many endowments seemed to cause the blonde to blush further, before she clasped her hands together and tried to pull back into the professionalism that had earned her this job in the first place.
Swallowing audibly, she began, "It's quite a bit to take in, ma'am, but... if you don't mind my saying, it's... it's quite fascinating." She'd always been interested whenever Jennifer shared a story of her globetrotting past. "You mentioned the moon... is this something like a..." The blonde paused to let out a breathless laugh. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but... like a werewolf... or... were-spider?"
Jennifer nodded. "A were-drider, to be very specific." Even after a decade, she still felt absurd speaking it aloud. She'd had time to accept it, but to actually vocalize the terminology... it was just so surreal. "On the night of a full moon, I become this... this abombination." She sighed and gestured with one of her free hands to her transformed body.
She almost didn't catch it as Sam bit her lip. "I... wouldn't call it an abombination, Miss Langford. I think it's all quite..." She paused, considering how best to express what she was thinking. "I know it's not my place, to make such judgements of your condition, but..."
"It's fine, Sam. I'm a monster. You can say it."
The blonde shook her head rapidly. "No, ma'am, not at all! I think you're... well, rather marvelous, really."
Jennifer squinted. "If that's some kind of Spider-Man pun..."
She hadn't expected the lady in front of her to laugh, but laugh she did. "No, no, it's not. But it is all amazing." Tenatively she stepped closer, her bright eyes momentarily locking with two of Jennifer's compound orbs. "You uh... you don't need to worry about covering yourself ma'am, I've... I've seen a nude woman before."
Deciding not to dwell on those implications for now, Jennifer slowly lowered her hands away, allowing her assistant an uninterrupted look at the eight massive mounds hanging from her torso. The assistant was barely able to contain her gasp, and completely unable to keep from staring at the multitude of rigid nipples on display. "Oh my," she muttered, "They're..."
"Huge," Jennifer finished her sentence with a wince. "And they produce... webs, instead of milk. That was what you saw on the floor."
"Wow." One hand briefly twitched up towards the top-middle pair before retracting rapidly. "Does it hurt, when they... produce the webs?"
"No... no, it actually feels quite nice."
"That's good." She swallowed audibly. "There are definitely perks, then, to your form... significant perks..."
The blushing, the stuttering and pauses, and now a slight tenting of Sam's blouse caused Jennifer to wonder about something. Was she... no, no, surely she couldn't be. Her assistant hardly seemed like the kind of woman to have such freakish interests. And yet... the way Sam was looking at her... it was a familiar sort of gaze. Not one she'd ever received from a woman, but... first time for everything, she supposed.
"Samantha... are you... attracted to me... like this?"
Her whole face turned red, and she quickly averted her gaze, the calm clasp of hands becoming an anxious wringing of wrists. "Uh... I... n-not merely like this..." She grimaced. "I've... always thought you were a beautiful woman, Miss Langford. I... I wouldn't have ever made a move towards you, but... seeing you like this..."
Jennifer's brow furrowed. "You're, what... turned on, by monstrosities?"
"No, ma'am! I'm not... you're not a monster." She finally looked back up with moisture welling in her bright green eyes. "You're not human, maybe, but... whatever you are... I think you're breathtaking."
Something shifted in Jennifer's gut as she stared down at her assistant. It was a little offputting to realize the woman had such an attraction towards her. A part of her was certain that anyone who found this body of hers attractive, who actually felt desire when presented with a half-spider freak like herself, must have been disgustingly perverse. At the same time, thought, she could feel a bit of warmth at being complimented on her spidery form; it was the first time she'd ever heard such a bit of praise. If Sam truly found her allurring in this state... maybe it was silly to fight it. The idea of breaking up the loneliness with the affection of someone, especially someone as beautiful in her own right as Sam... it was enticing, to say the least.
