Dillon decided it was time to take his new power to the test. He wanted to see just how far he could go changing reality. Knowing it would be natural for him to be naked, he still felt uncomfortable without clothes, so he went to his bedroom to get changed. Fortunately, it seemed his clothes changed to fit his new form. His shirts and pants changed from L to XXL, and his pants even seemed to have a hole for his tail. Dillon put on a plane t-shirt and some shorts and was ready to hit the streets.
As Dillon walked out his apartment, he sees no one is reacting to his new shape. This pleased Dillon, but it was still awkward to be standing as a bodybuilder with a chameleon tail. As if on que, his tail turned yellow to show embarrassment. But that would change soon as he looked for his first test subject.
Dillon looked to see his next door neighbor Tess coming back from work. Dillon figured he'd start simple for now. "Tess will have facial features of a German Shepherd." He whispered to the ring. He looked as Tess got closer, her face was pushing forward into a canine muzzle with her nose turning black, and her ears becoming pointed and covered with brown fur.
"Hey Dillon. You just heading out?" She asked Dillon. As she talked, Dillon noticed her teeth had sharpened. "Yeah. Just heading to the park for a jog." He said trying to get used to her new facial features. "Well have fun... And, why so embarrassed? Your tail is yellow now." Dillon hasn't noticed his tail change color, which it quickly turned to an orange being slightly surprised. "Uh... Phil noticed me laughing at his legs. It's was a bit inappropriate." Dillon lied. He enjoyed it thoroughly. "Well, I don't blame you that much. It's not something you'd see every day." Tess laughed as she climbed the stairs back up to her apartment. Dillon was glad to be over that conversation. He always had a thing for Tess, and maybe the ring could 'strengthen' the relationship.
As Dillon made his way to the park, he had made more creative changes. He fused a romantic couples legs together, making them inseparable, he swapped the heads of a man with the dog he was walking, he turned a taxi driver into a taxi with his head as the sentient head ornament, and many others. Dillon was now convinced that the world was in his hands to shape. He couldn't believe the power the ring had granted him. He continued pondering changes as he made it to the park.
