As much as she'd have liked to set out to search for more genies immediately, it was important to know what she already had. "Let's take a stroll around our little dominion, shall we?" She smiled, and Darzala replied with a nod, snapping her fingers and causing an appropriate casual pair of dresses to appear on their bodies. She supposed modesty was important for now... at least, to some degree. Not going out nude didn't have to mean being prudish.
Cupping a hand around the pale blue silk that covered her chest, she nodded downwards. "Oh, come now, you can do better than this." She raised an eyebrow. "And really... a queen destined to have busts made of her, should have a much finer-"
"Don't you dare finish that pun."
"Well, maybe I won't have to if you can help me out a little..."
Darzala grinned. "You know, I am loving this new attitude." The toothy smile remained as she grasped both hands around Mary's chest, forcing a surprised moan out of the newly-minuted royalty as waves of mystical energy poured from her fingers. The neckline of the dress promptly receded, providing an excellent view of Mary's endowments - and what endowments they were, swelling pleasantly under Darzala's touch. From an average size they enlarged, becoming round, firm, plump - not completely enormous, but large enough to balance beauty with her dignity as a queen.
"Much better," she said with a soft sigh once the changes were complete. The extra weight provided no additional restriction on her movement, allowing her to gracefully turn and kiss her genie consort before taking her hand. With arms locked they marched out of the luxurious bedroom, heels clacking against polished floors as they headed through a hallway every bit as ostentatious as the bedroom. Various servants moved around, bowing as Mary passed them by, with guards in flashy uniforms doing the same whenever she came by.
The presence of so many people, growing into crowds as they headed outside into a beautiful palatial garden, left Mary with a question. "These people... have they simply been willed into existence by your magic?"
Darzala shook her head. "Conjuring up a living being is possible, but taxing. It's far simply to just... relocate some people." She gestured to a few of the gardeners attending to the extensive flowers and shrubbery. "Everyone on this island, save for you and myself, was pulled from a life without meaning. The homeless, the enslaved, the downtrodden... all pulled out of pathetic existences and given a new purpose. Really, I've been quite generous, improving all their lives when I didn't even need to."
"Generous, and humble, of course."
"Oh of course, there isn't a soul alive that's humbler than me."
"I'm sure." She shook her head slightly, smiling all the same. "And my friends and family... what of them?"
"Your family has been moved to appropriate acommodations - they are royalty after all. Your friends..." She shrugged. "Left as they were, unless you'd like them brought here?"
It took her only a moment of pondering to decide whether she'd like to bring anyone from her old life here. "My roommate, Chole... she was studying to become a doctor. Perhaps you wouldn't mind bringing her here, and finishing off her doctorate while you're at it."
"Hmmm... is that all?"
The queen blushed ever so slightly, and that was all the answer that Darzala needed. Once more she snapped her fingers, and moments later, around a tree emerged a familiar face. Her longtime friend, ever the stressed-out medical student, now approached her with a confident stride, her short-cropped blond hair swaying with every step. She approached Mary with the same kind-hearted smile that had always charmed the Queen - and surprised her with the kiss planted right on her lips, followed by another delivered to Darzala.
Daintily she took a hand each from Mary and her consort - her other consort, she quickly realized. "Oh, I do hope you'll forgive my slipping out early," Chloe apologized, planting a kiss on each woman's hand before moving to lock arms with Mary on the opposite side from Darzala. "I simply couldn't resist a bit of fresh air. You two enjoyed yourself in my absense, I hope?"
"Oh yes... quite a bit." She glanced over to the genie, who merely gave her a wink. "You'll be willing to make up for it later, though, yes?"
Chloe's green eyes brightened. "Of course, your majesty!" She leaned in a bit closer and lowered her voice. "If it would be your will to make up now, in fact... I am, as ever, at your beck and call."
