With September around the corner, things were cooling off and people were getting ready for school and/or college. This was also a good time to look at news from Animalia and its established colonies.

Most of the stories from Lyre and Animalia were gathered by Miles as a kind of "preliminary test" for his application to Animalia Ambassadoria. While most of them were rather standard, mundane, and "boring" (as some commenters on the website called it), there were a few surprises.
One such surprise was from Joanne's estate. While she and her daughter were reconnecting, it was a bit of a surprise to learn that she was dating a new fennec fox. While someone like Joanne dating someone who was only 18 would be something to cause a stir outside of Animalia, in Animalia, it was no big deal since the Animalia Virus would be able to equalize things between the two of them.
Another such surprise was from Miles' interview of Vera, Blythe, and Coye. While most of it was considered normal, the surprise and funniest part (at least to some people) was this question.
"Are your new stallions getting any better with their language?" asked Miles.
"They're definitely making progress." answered Vera. The camera then "accidently" slipped and showed all three stallions holding bars of soap in their mouths. This picture would inevitably become a meme about the 'swearing' in rap music.
A third surprise came from Miles' interview of Arnold after one of his workouts. While the interview in general wasn't too unusual, Afia's appearance at the door to remind him about his latest "therapy session" was the surprising part, since it was seemingly a workout outfit that was considerably more "daring". This part was accompanied by a lot of surprised emojis in the comments, which was seemingly all they could "say".

Mieni Atoll wasn't too busy in terms of news and events, but Beacon and Allura's arrival did cause a bit of a stir, mainly with with Susan and Tzan. Susan was the one that was the most excited to meet Beacon's "spawnlings" (the unofficial name for them), while Tzan was noticeably less so.
Beacon's parents, however, enjoyed the Nautical Museum and the WWII War in the Pacific Museum. Fortunately, there was plenty of money available from the sale of the "Black Light Pollock" painting Beacon and Allura had created, and thus plenty of money for souvenirs and food.

Probably what was the most important was from Heiya Island. Ami and Tsukuyomi were not only touring the island, but also recording it as a kind of "virtual tour/preview" for when the pandemic was finally under control. But there were a few funny scenes from the tour that were removed due to not "fitting" the tour or being "appropriate" for all ages.
One such scene was when Tsukuyomi met the girls Ami was now looking after, officially or not. While enough of the brainwashing that the human trafficking ring used was undone that they weren't quite worshiping Ami as vigorously as they once were, it wasn't completely undone. But they did get some things wrong, because they thought that Tsukuyomi was Ami's husband, even though that wasn't how it went in Shinto mythology.
Another scene was after Nurse Manami finally gotten a wolf conversion. Neither did her new fur patterns she now had clash with either Tsukuyomi or Ami, nor did she mind being a kind of nurse/caretaker for the girls, and now the boys that had been found from the "splinter cell", as the Interpol called it, since it was similar to the larger ring but considerably smaller.

While the Pandemic had caused many things to be either rescheduled or postponed, they weren't discarded entirely.
