Hannah squeezed both dice between her thumbless paws and tossed them onto the board. They landed double-sixes.
"That puts you on a yellow space, Hannah," Tom warned.
"Okay," she said, prepared for whatever sensations might happen.
Prickling began in her ears. She tried to scratch them with her forepaws, but it wasn't any use. Brown hair was growing on her ears, which were themselves getting larger and growing into points, migrating toward the top of her head. She also felt a pulling sensation at the base of her spine, and immediately guessed what it could be. Tugging her pants a little lower, a tail snaked out from behind. It was brown with black stripes, and slowly grew in length.
Her feet started to feel warm and itchy. She struggled to untie her shoelaces before her changing feet burst right out of them. Tom quickly interfered, easily removing her shoes. Hannah's toes were growing long, sharp claws that had torn the front of her socks wide open. Tom removed the socks' remains and tossed them and her shoes into a corner of the room. More brown fur was covering her feet, moving up her legs to finally stop below her knees. Fur was also encroaching on her arms, expanding from her forepaws to her elbows.
Another unpleasant feeling began in her mouth. It felt like when she was teething as a toddler. She ran a now-rough tongue over her teeth, which could now be effectively called "fangs." Slowly, the feelings from all of her affected body parts subsided, leaving her with four cat's paws, ears, teeth, tongue, and a fluffy four-foot tail.
"You alright?" Tom asked.
"Yeah. Actually, it feels pretty nice." Hannah stroked her new fur while her tail swished casually in the air behind her.
Tom thought he could hear Hannah purring. "Well then, it's my turn again."
