"Before I roll," Tom said, "I might want to be prepared." He untied his shoes and removed his socks, tossing them over near Hannah's. "It appears this game doesn't much favor clothes."
Tom rolled 4 and 3. That put him on a card square just in front of Hannah, giving him the lead back. Drawing a card, he closed his eyes and sighed before finally reading his fate.
A noble man can gain respect.
But a noble myth is more direct.
The chance you have to stay on course
Would best be aided by a horse.
"Horses aren't mythical," said Sue. "Why would it give us one?"
"I have a feeling it's not giving us a horse," Tom said as his legs began to warm. Quickly, the feeling increased to an almost unbearable burning. He wrestled with his belt and zipper as his legs began expanding inside his pants. Finally kicking them off, everyone was now able to see light brown hair had grown completely over them. They had swollen almost twice as thick as a normal human's legs when they suddenly split apart. Tom's naked rear began to extend behind him, splitting his underwear open and revealing an unnaturally large member for all to see. As his behind extended, it took Tom's improved endowment and his second set of legs with it. A thin tail developed out of his growing backside, quickly being covered in long black hairs. His toenails darkened and grew to monstrous sizes, fusing together and enveloping each of his four feet into large black hooves. Long black fur grew at each ankle, growing almost completely over the hooves.
Everyone was paying so much attention to his bottom half, only Tom noticed what was happening to his head. He could feel his hair growing long down his back, even growing out the back of his neck. He watched a few stray locks drooping lower and lower in front of his eyes. Brushing them behind his ears, he now had a thick, black mane almost two feet long.
The changes had stopped, leaving Tom with a horse's body from the waist down. In his new standing position, his head was only a foot from the ceiling. He looked down at his friends, still sitting on the floor with the game.
"Told you," he said. "The game didn't give us a horse, it turned me into a centaur."
"Do you give rides?" Hannah purred.
"Har har," Tom responded. His black tail swished in annoyance. "This actually feels pretty cool. I feel so powerful."
"Hey, Mythical Man, can you toss me the dice or do I have to stand up?" Sue called from the floor.
