Leah follows along as Tina shops for a while. It isn't until she feels the need to pee that she speaks up to excuse herself. As she walks away, Leah can't help but feel a bit relieved. Spending time with Tina is always so awkward especially with how doting she can be, so a few minutes alone is nice.
Though that nice feeling comes to an end when finding the bathroom turns out too be much harder than expected. The store's layout is very confusing and Leah isn't tall enough to see the signs over most of the racks and shelves. She grows increasingly desperate, but is mortified at the idea of having to ask someone to take her to the bathroom like a little kid.
Spotting the bathroom at the other side of the Baby and Toddler section, Leah rushes forward recklessly and trips. The impact with the ground causes her bladder to empty. Stunned and horrified, Leah lays on the ground a moment before climbing to her feet. Looking herself over, she sees that the urine has soaked right through her underwear and into her clothes.
Leah imagines walking back to Tina like this and shudders. No, she has to change now, but she has no idea where the girls section is and can hardly go looking for it. She has no choice, she has to take something from here.
Cringing at the options, Leah grabs a few choices before retreating to the bathroom. There she strips and cleans herself then pulls open the package of underwear she grabbed. Only then does she realize it's actually a pack of cloth training pants, but it's too late to go back for something else now so she pulls a pair on.
Realizing that trying to put pants on over her new "underwear" might leave a noticeable bulge, Leah opts for the only alternative she grabbed, a bright poofy pettiskirt. Just to be extra sure no one sees what she's wearing underneath, she pulls on a pair of modestly shorts as well. After pulling on a equally frilled shirt, Leah dumps her old clothes in the trash.
She avoids looking in any mirrors to see how silly she looks and heads back out into the store. Leah's still frazzled by the whole experience and momentarily forgets that Tina is going to question the new outfit.
