Dave rolled 6 and 4, putting him right behind Sue in the lead. His space was colored red.
"Hmm...not the space you're going to like," Terry warned.
"Wonderful," Dave sighed. He pulled his loose shirt tighter around him. A second pair of dice appeared in front of him. These dice, however, were red with black pips. "What are these for?"
"As long as you stay on that red space," explained Terry, "You have to roll every time someone else does. If you can't beat their roll, you have to draw the top card before that player moves their marker."
"So I could possibly lose every time and get four transformation cards before it's my turn again? I thought this game didn't want anyone hogging the transformations."
"They might still get a transformation card as they play their turn. This just means you could get more than us."
"I swear, this game has it in for me." Dave passed the white dice to Hannah. Squeezing them in her paws, she tossed them onto the board.
