If she goes back to the changing room, she can find some new clothes to put on as a disguise. Maybe she can even find some more masculine clothes. Hopefully, if she puts on boy clothes again, she’ll turn back into a boy. Yes, she’ll still be a toddler, but it would be better nonetheless.
Jacob makes her way back to the changing room. There are a few close calls. She has to duck behind furniture and plants many times. But she successfully enters the changing room without being caught. Thankfully, the changing room is still deserted. Jacob walks around, looking in unlocked lockers and checking bags.
To her displeasure, the only clothes Jacob can find in her size are girl clothes. She comes to the last diaper bag. Holding her breath, she looks inside.
“Yes!” she whispers, jubilant. The bag has toddler boy clothes in her size. Even the diaper is meant for a boy, patterned with race cars and trucks. Jacob grabs the clothes. She hurriedly switches her diaper out, and trades the dress for shorts and a T-shirt. When she’s done, she looks at her reflection in the mirror. If it wasn’t for her newly long hair, she’d look like a boy again. Well, if putting on boy clothes doesn’t change her back into a boy, she can just get some scissors and cut her hair shorter herself.
Jacob closes her eyes and waits, praying that the clothes do something.
