Leah heads for the front desk.
“Leah?” the receptionist says upon seeing her. Clearly, she’s startled to find Leah in a diaper and nothing else.
“Unfortunately,” Leah sighs. “There was an…incident, and someone I don’t know wound up putting me in this.”
“Would the incident involve you having an accident of some sort?”
“…Maybe.”
“In that case, you’re stuck in that diaper for now. Anyone in the daycare who has an accident must wear protection, regardless of their age.”
“Great.” Leah sighs again. “Could you find Tina for me?”
“Sure thing. You can sit behind the desk to hide for now.” The receptionist gets up and leaves. Leah does as she was told, hiding behind the front desk. In a few short moments, the receptionist returns.
“Well?” Leah asks.
“Tina says she’s sorry, and she’ll make sure to make it up to you later. But you’ll have to wait a little longer.”
“…With how my day is going, I’m not surprised.”
“She did give you clearance to wear training pants instead of a diaper, though. Here.” The receptionist hands Leah a pair of training pants, then turns around so Leah can change. “Better?”
“Much.”
“Now, Tina gave me a few suggestions for what you could do while you wait.”
“Is getting dressed one of them?” Leah asks flatly. The receptionist chuckles.
“We’ll find some clothes for you after you choose from Tina’s suggestions.”
