The next morning, Laura was still sleeping peacefully in her crib. She was still sucking on her pacifier while she slept. Laura soon gently opened her eyes and woke up. She sat up, and a crinkling sound was heard. At first, Laura wondered where that sound was coming from until she looked down and noticed that what was making that sound was a white diaper on her waist. Laura remembered that she was still a baby.
Suddenly, the door opens and Kaitlin enters.
Kaitlin: * talking in a baby voice * "Hello my little princess! Did mommy's baby girl have a nice nappy wappy? Huh? Did wittle Laura have sweety weety dreams?"
Laura tried to answer her but the only thing that came out of her mouth was "Baba goo goo ga". She also remembered that she still can't speak.
Kaitlin: * cradles Laura in her arms * "Awww. You're too cute when you babble in your baby talk."
Kaitlin sets Laura on the floor and opens her closet. Her closet is full of baby onesies and little dresses. Kaitlin picks out a light blue shirt with a yellow duck on it and puts it on Laura with a matching blue duck skirt.
Kaitlin: * smiling and cooing at Laura * "Awwww. You always look so cute and adorable in your little baby clothes."
Kaitlin then picked up Laura and carried her downstairs to the kitchen, where she put the baby girl in a high chair and attached the food tray. She then strapped a baby bib around Laura's neck and removes her pacifier.
Kaitlin: * smiling * "It's time for baby to eat her yummy num nums."
Kaitlin took a jar of baby food and dipped a spoon in it. She then reached for Laura's mouth.
Laura opened her mouth and mom put the baby mush in, but Laura soon spit out the mush and it landed on the tray.
Laura: * thinking * "Gross! Are those mashed peas ?! I hate peas!"
Kaitlin: "Now now Laura. Good baby girls don't spit their food out like that. Now eat your peas sweetie."
Laura soon gave up fighting and opened her mouth again. Kaitlin put more baby mush in her mouth and Laura struggled to swallow, but she eventually finished the whole jar. Except there was baby mush food all over her face.
Kaitlin: * giggling * "Hehe. You silly baby. You've got more food on your face than in your little tummy."
Kaitlin took a wet washcloth and wiped Laura's face clean. She then took the baby out of the high chair and put a bottle of warm baby milk in her mouth. Laura took a few sips and smiled.
Alice: * thinking * "At least this is better than that gross pea mush."
Soon, Laura finished the whole bottle and Kaitlin gently patted Laura's back, which caused her to let out a loud baby burp. Kaitlin then put a pacifier back on baby Laura's mouth and carried her over to the front door and put little shoes on her feet. Then carried her outside the house and into the car, where she was buckled into a baby car seat. Kaitlin got in and drove the car to .......
