You race as fast as you can across the forest floor, pausing every so often to stop and get your bearings. Its hard to tell though the trees, but you know the sun is setting fast!
It isn't that long before you make it to the clearing at the edge of the Wizards cottage. It's not much to look at, just a small house, a few animal pens and a small garden. It looks like something you might find in an old storybook.
Quietly, you hope across the clearing to the edge of the cottage itself. The walls are just rough wood, and it takes only a few moments for you to find a hole large enough to get in.
It's only then that you stop, dead still, and look around. You don't see any sign of the wizard, but it's clear he's been here very recently. The fire in the fireplace is still burning, though very low. The smell of food hangs in the air, as well.
You look around and finally spot a small workbench, covered in archaic glassware. A couple dozen clear bottles filled with different liquids are neatly stacked against the wall above it.
Moving fast and silent, you race across the floor to the bench and up the side. You look at the bottle, hoping to find one labled right, and realize with horror that the bottles are labeled in a numbered code! The squirrel that you talked with in the woods didn't tell you which one to take!
You don't know how much time that you have, or what some of the other potions do. Do you risk looking for a list for the potions, assuming there is one, or do you grab a potion and risk it?
