The September 2020 edition of Animalia Magazine was called the 'Stupid September' edition because there's nothing like a global pandemic to help bring out the stupidest members of society. This helped people and Animalians understand what makes a person genuinely stupid from those who are only "momentarily" stupid.

The Past, Present, and Future talked about famous "stupid people" throughout history, which were mainly famous actors such as Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, The Three Stooges, etc., which also helped separate fact from fiction about such comedic duos. The biggest part was how such characters got started, or who said what.

One really informative piece was about mistakes that ended up costing large amounts of money and why. In some cases, it was as simple as a misspelled, or misplaced, word. In other cases, it was poor design, such as the infamous sinking of the Vassa. In that particular case, poor design was to blame for its failure because the designer had made the gun deck far too heavy.
It also showed how sometimes it can be the smallest errors than can cause the biggest problems, especially in things like rocket science and space travel. One well known example was the Mars climate orbiter, which had failed due to a conversion error between metric and imperial.

What was probably the most unusual article talked about what some considered the biggest problem with society nowadays: participating in social media challenges for online recognition. While originally it was meant for things like ALS, it was quickly getting more and more outlandish and dangerous.
Case in point, "baby gender reveal parties". While it had started with good intentions, people, in their desire to attract the most attention on the internet, were doing things increasingly crazy things to celebrate a baby, and ended up causing more damage than intended, such as causing wildfires by using explosive charges to release the colored smoke.
While there were those who were angry about the article, especially on the digital version, there were those who were able to call them out for the dumb things they did for social media.

There was also an article that talked about scams and shenanigans that were using internet to steal money or information. Some were a little more surprising than others, such as personality quizzes, fake financial advisors, fake fitness gurus, and influencer fraud.
These articles helped identify common traits of social media scammers, such as real financial advisors from fake ones, for example. In this case, real financial advisors aren't posing with gold Lamborghinis on Instagram because they didn't need to, and also showed how easy it was to fake a lavish lifestyle with a few greenscreens and some basic editing knowhow.
