Sabrina was having a very strange day. Being a freshman in high school is no fun, when you're not one of the pretty, popular girls. To be fair, Sabrina was pretty, but she was small and underdeveloped, and looked more like a 7th grader than a high schooler. She stood only 4' 9", and, just out of the shower, was only 86 lbs.. She had brown hair with long bangs, and did her level best to disappear in any group of people. She'd always been a little shy, and being a girl into fantasy novels and Dungeons and Dragons made most people consider her 'weird'.
Some odd things were going on at school- there were rumors of Jennifer, the head cheerleader, was actually a flat chested girl, which didn't jive with Sabrina's memories of the girl. And one of the teachers, Mrs. Lopez, had vanished.
Meanwhile, someone claimed to have found a baby in the teacher's lounge! All Sabrina wanted to do was go home, and she was considering slipping out of the school when nobody was looking when she ran into a boy she vaguely knew...Kyle Perkins, carrying something wrapped in a girl's top!
He grinned at her. "Oh, you'll be perfect...Transform or Dare..."
She'd been too shocked to say anything, and now, well...now she was pregnant. There was an old, unused classroom that she'd found awhile back, that was full of old desks and chairs. A small girl like her could crawl into the corner easily, and hide out. Which she did, from time to time.
Like now, as she looked at her now swollen belly. What was she going to do? Her Mom was going to freak out! Not to mention, she wasn't looking forward to giving birth, given how small she was.
Worse, the baby was kicking. Not hard, really, but enough to make it very evident that yes, this was really happening.
That's when she felt a strange tingle for the second time today. She'd felt the same sensation when Kyle had...done whatever he'd done.
"...can you hear me?"
She almost jumped out of her skin, hearing a soft, childlike voice coming from...inside her?
"Yes...oh God, who are you?"
"I'm Jennifer Smith." The voice didn't sound like Jennifer, but instead like a very small girl.
"Jennifer? Are you...are you inside me?"
"It seems that way. I...I'm sorry, I don't know how this happened. Who are you?"
"Sabrina Grey, but you wouldn't know me. I'm a tiny freshman girl."
Sabrina, Sabrina...to her suprise, Jennifer did have a face to put with the name. That little freshman who looked like a little kid, and always sat in the back. She'd seen the girl's face once. She was pretty, delicate features, and the greenest eyes Jen had ever seen. And then she'd immediately dismissed the girl. God, what a bitch she'd been?
"I remember you. You sit in the back of my English Lit class. I hope you forgive me, I cursed you...well sort of."
"You did what now?"
"Uh, you've probably felt me kicking, that was Morse Code. Transform or Dare, I don't know if you've heard the legend, but it's like the party game, but it can change you. That's how I became this way...and how I ended up inside you, I bet. I used it on you."
"Oh. Oh! Uh, so we can talk, right?"
"I didn't know who you were, so...yes, that and...I dared you to do whatever I asked you to. I'm so sorry!"
Sabrina blinked. "Oh. Well, I mean, unless you make me do something bad, I mean, it could be worse. I...uh...I'm cursed too. Not just to be your...mother. Kyle...he dared me to love you. I guess so I wouldn't..." Sabrina couldn't finish the sentence.
"Get rid of me, you mean. Oh God, this is all my fault. I have no idea what I did to Kyle, but I must have been horrible to him. And now you're...oh but we can fix this. You can pass the curse on if you've been hit by it!"
Sabrina brightened. "Oh, so I could use it to get you out? Oh man...that's going to hurt."
Jennifer winced. "Yeah, I wonder if there's some other way. Or maybe we could find someone else and make them pregnant with me? That sounds pretty bad though."
"Well, we need to think of something, I can't go home like this." Sabrina put her hands over her belly. Now that she was talking to the girl, she felt a lot better about her situation. It was...nice...feeling Jennifer inside her. Warm feelings flooded her mind. Oh right. She was in love with her now. That was strange, but it felt good.
"Alright, let's try something..."
