Morning had come far too quick for Taylor – which is why she spun the clock back a few times to have extra time sleeping with Maggie in her embrace. But eventually, she had to let time go forth and awaken them both from their blissful sleep.
“Morning, beautiful.” Taylor croons to a sleepy Maggie, who mumbles for someone to ‘turn off the sun’, “I’d love to, but I doubt the neighbors would like that.”
Maggie grumbled and sunk beneath the covers in response. Taylor smirked a little at that, before diving under the covers herself and kissing her girlfriend awake, thus turning leading to a moment of smooching.
The girls were interrupted by June knocking on the door, “Girls, breakfast! Get down before it gets cold!”
Taylor, for a split second, had a face of utter annoyance, but just shouted, “Okay, mom!”
“Guess we better get going.” Maggie sulked out of bed and went to her clothes pile.
After eating a nice and warm breakfast and Maggie experiencing true love of a family, the girlfriends returned to Taylor’s room, intent on spending some more time together – when Maggie’s phone started to ring. For some privacy, Maggie excused herself to the bathroom, leaving Taylor to wait in the room.
10 minutes later, Maggie’s return drawing Taylor’s attention from the magazine she had been reading at the moment.
“Who was that?”
Maggie stuffed her phone back into her pants, “That was Michael. He got a place and wants to start packing.”
“He found a place, already?” Taylor asked, placing the magazine down.
“Yeah, looks like an old classmate of his is renting his apartment, so Michael took the offer. And we both want out of that house, so the sooner the better.”
“When do you think you’ll be free next?”
“In a few days, maybe? We’ll need to pack up and move to the whatever place Michael got himself.” Maggie looked a little sour, “Not that there’s a lot I want to take with me.”
“Would you like a helping hand with that?” Taylor inquired, but Maggie denied – wanting to do it with just Michael by her side. Taylor concedes to that and, after a (not so) quick goodbye kiss, Maggie, taking the cats with her, leaves to the new address.
After watching Maggie walk out of her (normal) field of vision, Taylor returned to sulk to her room at the absence of her girlfriend.
Then Taylor got a bright idea…
