"C'mon sis! Let's go shopping!"
"That sounds great! But. . ."
One of the things Taylor marveled at was the seamlessness with which the past created by her powers had replaced the real past. Had she changed the past, or had she just changed everyone's memory of the past? Was there a difference? At any rate, both Taylor and Darla remembered times when Darla, just when she had started to live as a girl, had been ridiculed and harassed on the street. Since then she had been shy about going out in public.
"Don't worry sis, you're with me. Everything's going to be fine."
Suddenly Darla felt a rush of confidence, a sureness that with Taylor, everything would be fine. And buying some more girl clothes would be fun.
"Maybe we can get our hair styled." said Taylor, as she brought into existence a credit card attached to a literally infinite supply of money.
