Katie now stood overlooking a rather normal looking building in the middle of the woods. "You sure this it?"
"Oh yeah that's it," Rexie grinned.
"I was expecting something more...secretive," Lisa stated.
"It makes sense if you think about it," Yuriko shrugged. "No one would expect a secret military facility to look like a regular office building."
The plan, despite sounding insane, was rather simple. The group would teleport inside the facility and split up into three groups. Yuriko would go with Aaron, Haley, Claudia, and the other timeline Mary Elise. Katie, Lisa, Karen. Gloria, and Rexie would investigate useing the imp familiar as a guide. Finally Akira, Ayami, Sasha, and Naomi would investigate the lower levels. Wishing eachother luck, Claudia cast a teleportation spell, allowing the group to enter unnoticed.
"We're in," Akira whispered. "Yuriko can you hear us?"
"Yeah I can hear you," Yuriko stated. The kitsune nodded, impressed by the teens psychic abilities. The group now shared a psychic link allowing them to comm6as if they had radios. "Be careful," the kitsune whispered. "I can smell death here. It appears they have Voids and a lich present."
Yuriko could only sigh, wishing the others luck. "So any idea where to go?"
"Just start opening doors," Haley chirped. "That usually works for me." Yuriko watched as her cousin now began opening office doors, calling out to see if anyone was around. "Can you not do that," Yuriko groaned.
"What," Haley stated in surprise. "You got a better way to find everyone?" Before Yuriko could answer an unearthly moan seemed to echo throughout the hallway. Shivering Yuriko glanced around looking for the sound. "Voids," she asked.
"And something else," Claudia whispered. The petite blond wizard now began to transform into her flaming tigress form.
"Check it out Haley," Aaron smirked. "Moms going beast mode."
"Quiet you two," Claudia hissed.
Claudia and Yuriko narrowed their eyes, noticing a series of shadows slowly advancing. As they came into the light the group could notice at least a dozen Revenants and Voids making their way slowly towards them.
"Finally something to smash," Haley giggled. The teen now began her transformation into her anthro form, her feet becoming digitgrade as brown fur covered her body. Aaron taking his sisters cue transformed as well, drawing his pistols as he unleashed a barrage of fire to cover his sister. "Come get some," he laughed.
Yuriko covered her ears as the shots rang out. Watching her cousin she could see the hybrid kitsune laughing maniacally as she swung her hammer at the approaching creatures. Yurikobwatched as Claudia simply shook her head, a scowl on her face as she moved to help her future daughter. Yuriko could only watch as mother and daughter tore through the approaching creatures, blood and bits af flesh splattering the walls of the hallway.
"That was fun," Haley exclaimed, wiping bits of Void and Revenant from her fur.
"You know," Claudia groaned. "When this is over you, me, and your brother are having a long talk."
"Haley!"
Haley and the other turned towards the voice, noticing Aaron at the end of the hallway. The tigsune appeared to have been jumped by a group of Revenants. After dispatching a pair of them, the others pinned him to the wall and were slowly dragging him to the floor. Yuriko could see the tigsune eyes go from angry to fearful as he was slowly overpowered. "Haley," he called once more as he tried to free himself.
Haley's mouth slowly went slack as she watched her twin brother slowly sink to the floor. As he vanished from sight the sounds of flesh tearing mixed with the blood choked cries of her brother.
"Aaron," Haley bellowed.
Yuriko, Claudia, and Haley now ran as fast as they could, listening as the blood choked cries of Aaron echoed through the halls. As they reached the group of creatures, Yuriko used her powers to fling a pair of the creatures away, using her mental powers to crush them into bloody pulp.
Haley and Claudia did the same, Claudia tearing the creatures to pieces as Haley swung her hammer recklessly, coating anyone nearby in a thick viscous liquid. As the last if the creatures fell, Haley gasped in horror as she looked at her brother.
"No," she moaned. "No, no, no, no, no!"
Aaron lay on the floor, his belly ripped open by the attack. The teenage hybrid now quivering as he tried to speak. The only sound escaping his blood covered lips was a small whimper.
"Your going to be okay," Haley whimpered, clutching her brothers head to her chest. Slowly she began to brush his fur, the girl inconsolable as she tried to comfort her brother. "Mommy," she whimpered, her eyes damp with tears. "Mommy Aaron's hurt. Please, please help him mommy!"
Claudia was trying to remain calm as she looked down at her future son. Aaron was in bad shape, if he didnt get help soon he wouldnt survive. "It'll be okay," she soothed as she gripped her sons hand. "Yuriko, I have to get him out of here."
Yuriko nodded. "Everyone listen," she said, making contact with the others. "Aaron's down. Haley and Claudia are evacuating with him back to the Magic Shop."
"What about you," Katie asked.
"I'm going to find the kids," she stated. As Claudia and Haley vanished with Aaron, Yuriko straightened herself. They had only just begun and there were casualties already. Hopefully they could rescue everyone before things got worse.
