School the next day was weird but delightful. With everybody feeling permission to express their true selves, they didn't even need Tyler's push. Joe the quarterback had declared their gender fluidity (and they/them) pronouns, and today was attending morning classes as Josie and afternoon ones as Joe. Chrissy the cheerleader had shaved her head, dumped her jock boyfriend, and was now dating a guy in the chess club and a girl in the Body Positivity/Fat Acceptance club. And with students, teachers and staff no longer devoting any energy to hiding who they actually were, bullying was down (and a few of the hardcore bullies got their lives rebooted from infancy thanks to Taylor) and schoolwork actually improving.
Gabriel was really enjoying his time with his family but also feeling a little left out, as Michael spent most of his time with Janice and Maggie with Taylor. Maybe it was time to look up some old friends. . .
Janice accompanied Michael on his trip to take the kitties to the vet to see how their pregnancies were going. There was definitely something weird in having your boyfriend's parents be cats, but given how she remembered them from when she was an AMAB kid, it was probably a good thing, They seemed to have much nicer personalities now.
