High above Times Square in New York City, a pumpkin shaped space ship hovers overhead. The citizens of Earth stare at it nervously, not sure what to make of the gourd-like craft. Suddenly, two triangle shaped windows open on one side of it, and a beam of light shines down into the streets below. It turned out to be a hologram projection of a short, furry creature of indeterminate mammalian species standing on its hind legs and wearing a jack-o-lantern helmet. It wore a gold chain around its neck and a pair of baggy jeans with patched up knees. It held a black and orange striped microphone up to its mouth.
"AYY! YO YO YO!" the strange hologram creature says into the mic, its voice booming around the square, "What's up, N Y C! Y'all ready for Halloween?!" The people gathered murmured nervously as the pumpkin headed creature waited for a response. "W-woah... heh heh... tough crowd... I can't hear ya! I said, Y'ALL READY FOR HALLOWEEN, BABAY!" The crowd supposed they had no choice but to cheer. "Uh huh! That's right! That's what I like to hear!"
"A'ight yo, listen up!" the creature continued, "They call me Freak Masta Funky Jack, an here's what we here to do to y'all Earthlies, IF y'all ain't square! My crew and I come from the planet Spookitron, the Halloweeniest place in the galaxy. We wanna make Halloween last all year round, baby! Ghosts and Goblins and Skeletons and Vampire Bats an all that! Heh heh! So here's how we gonna do it, yo! We gonna give you humans the choice to become a Halloween monster of your choice! We can do anything your little hearts would desire, from werewolves to gillmen, and vampires to zombies! We'll even turn you into whatever you can make up! We won't judge!
"So here's how to enlist," it explains, "Just shout into the sky 'HALLOWEEN ME, YO!' and we'll come pick you up in the Flying Jack to negotiate terms and conditions and all that. Once we monstafy you, all changes are final and permanent, so y'all best be absolutely SURE you wanna be a Halloweenie like me and my crew for the rest of your life.
