"Meeting the avatar was really, really exciting, plus I've spent the last year on an all-girl commune, which is great if you're into girls, but I'm not. And here I am in a motel bedroom. Right now" said Dana "I don't want to think about the future, I want a quick, no-strings-attached roll in the hay with an old friend. How bout you?" Dana was already unbuttoning her shirt.
Her confidence was entirely justified. "That sounds great!" said Gabriel, unbuckling his belt.

"She knows who I am" said Taylor, who had created a privacy bubble so that Michael and Janice couldn't hear her and Maggie.
"What?"
"She studies or worships or whatever the goddess who gave me the power. She saw me, and she just knew. She thinks I'm some kind of avatar, maybe I am. When I get close to what I am or why I have the power the power itself won't tell me."
"Oh, wow. What are you going to do?"
"Well, I definitely don't want to be worshipped. The idea of people praying to me or bowing before statues of me just creeps me out. But I don't think I want to erase her memory either--this goddess cult probably exists as part of the plan for balance, and it might be a bad idea to mess with it. Let me see what she's doing--if she's talked to anyone else about me." Suddenly, Taylor blushed fiercely.
"What is it?" Maggie asked.
"Uh, let's just say your brother and his friend are having a really good time together at the moment. Maybe I'll check in later."
Maggie laughed.
