Makenna can tell that Mia is getting bored.
“We’re going to be here for a while, so why don’t you go play with Mark’s little brother and sister?” Makenna suggests. Mark nods.
“That’s a great idea. Terry and Tammy could use some playtime. Mom?” Mark’s mom appears. “Do you think this little girl that Makenna’s babysitting could play with the twins for a bit?”
“Sure!” Mark’s mom says. She smiles at Mia. “What’s your name?”
“Molly,” Makenna says quickly. Mia frowns at her. “Actually, I can take her to the twins’ playroom myself.”
“It’s not a problem, they need to be watched a lot anyways,” Mark’s mom says.
“Well, maybe I’ll just take Molly to the bathroom really quick before she goes to play.” Makenna grabs Mia’s hand and drags her to the bathroom. She closes the door.
“My name’s not Molly!” Mia pouts.
“I know, but do you want Mark to know you’re a little girl right now?” Makenna wheedles. Mia sighs.

“Terry and Tammy? Three.”

“You’re only five,” Makenna points out. Mia crosses her arms, still pouting. “Fine, you want to play with kids closer to your age? I can fix that.” Makenna takes out the gun and points it at Mia.
