As the two teleported back to Maggie’s room, Taylor returned to her normal self and got to writing a text to Dana to collect the top ten to do to balance the world – as a starting point, she adds, not really wanting to share as to why she is now starting so suddenly – while Maggie looked at her pseudo-bimbo self in the mirror.
As Taylor waited for Dana to get back with the list, she found herself starring at the still posing Maggie, enjoying the view not so secretly, Maggie turned around, “Think I could keep the look? Or a toned down one at least?”
“You like it?”
“Well, I did ask for each change,” Maggie giggles, “And I do look really good like this.”
“You already looked divine to me,” Maggie blushed at that, while Taylor continued, “But toned down how?”
“Small things – toning down the giggling and airy voice unless I’m in the right mood, maybe even the curves a bit closer to their old sizes…small things, but then make it so that my still Marilyn-looks are normal and nothing new.” Maggie gestured to the family photo of a very much brunette her and her equally brunette brothers.
“Hmmm…” Taylor thought, considering the needed changes, “Point taken. You know some boys will have to be beaten away with a bat, right?”
Maggie gave Taylor a sly look, “Then I give you permission to do with the more persistent and annoying guys as you wish.”
“Oh, thank you, my dear. Now…” Taylor got work. Not wanting to cause ‘looking like the milkman’ situation, Taylor proceeded to work backwards: picking a part and looking where it came from before changing the features of various direct and recent ancestors that will result in the current Maggie. It may have resulted in some miniscule changes across the family, but with history changing to fit, nobody batted an eye at that. The likeliest one to notice was Dana, as her status as a goddess worshipper gave her that ability to notice of things that Taylor changed, should she see it – and given that Gabriel’s hair lightened into a blond-brown color, she will see it, sooner than later.
“And with the memories…same as last time?”
“Yeah, just do that thing.” Maggie shook her head a bit as the slightly altered memories settled into her mind, before tutting at her clothes, that got changed to fit her new proportions, “Well, dang, guess I’ll need to find something new and cute. Think you’ll help me when you’re free?”
“Like you have to ask.” Taylor leaned closer and Maggie did so in kind, when the phone dinged with the list from Dana, “She has the power of blocking, I swear…” Maggie giggled at that disappointed tone.
