Jeff went back to his computer and attempted to sit down. However, his computer chair proved very difficult to sit in, with an apatosaurus neck and head sticking out behind him. "Um... how are we going to make this work? Chairs are made for human butts, not apatosaurus necks."
Amy asked, "Have you tried the 'Alter Reality' function?"
"No. I don't know what that is. I just got this program, and don't really know how to use it. I got you thanks to a package I downloaded."
"That's okay. Like I said, I know a lot about the program that I came from. I can help you understand it." She pointed Jeff towards the option she mentioned, allowing him to alter reality around his most recent change, that being Amy. All of a sudden, his torn pants mended themselves around Amy's neck, with a strap forming over her neck, as though his pants were tailor-made for an apatosaurus neck. Jeff's computer chair also changd, opening on the side so Amy's neck could slip in. A stool appeared next to his computer chair, where Amy could rest her head and watch Jeff at his computer.
Amazed at all this, Jeff went over to his dresser, and pulled out another pair of jeans. Like the ones he's wearing now, these have a large opening where the butt normally is, and a strap to hold them together. He then saw the picture of himself sitting on top of his dresser. It was from one of his family picture gatherings. But it was no longer just him. Hugging under his arm was a blue apatosaurus head, smiling at the camera with him.
Amy spoke behind him. "You see? It's like I have always been a butt. And everyone will remember me being a part of you, as though I really have been."
"What about my family? Do they have apatosaurus butts, too?"
"No. The changes you've made apply primarily to yourself. But you can make them like us, too, if you want. Even make them think that it's normal for themselves to be like us. Their behinds would know the truth, being from the program. But we all can keep a secret and play along."
Jeff thought at this.
