The entire zoo was suddenly engulfed by a blinding light coming from the sky. Heidi shielded her eyes as she took a quick glance at the source of the light, thinking it was some sort of police helicopter. It was unlike anything that Heidi had ever seen in her life. She felt a gust of wind pick up, making a mess of her platinum blonde hair, then had a sudden feeling of vertigo. Closing her eyes tightly, Heidi felt herself being lifted off the ground. She gingerly opened one eye and saw that she was quite a way up from the ground! She tried to scream, but her mouth and throat seemed incapable of making any sort of sound.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the rest of the staff on the ground, who came outside to investigate the light source. Suddenly, they began levitating as well. A few animals seemed to be caught in the crossfire, also being elevated from their enclosures. Looking around, Heidi was unsure if this was a dream, or some convoluted nightmare her brain had come up with. She began to feel light-headed, blacking out as she drifted closer to the source of the light.
Heidi eventually came to, her head still spinning and her eyes slightly blurry. She eventually sat up slowly and surveyed her strange, new surroundings. This didn't look familiar to her at all. Her body was also feeling slightly off, but couldn't pinpoint an exact problem. It was something unusual that she hadn't ever felt before. She closed her eyes and rubbed her head, trying to shake the cobwebs from her brain.
Once she had woken up completely, Heidi immediately noticed the problem. She looked at her arms and legs, felt around her face, then caught her reflection from the glass she was encased behind. She had changed into...
