Teri thought about something, and made another wish before leaving.
The girls appeared in the room they now shared. There was a single bed, with a canopy, and the decor was...very girly and cute.
"Wow, this is our room?" Sammy looked around.
"It's even girlier tha your room used to be." Val sighed.
Sammy gave her a look. "I'm not that girly!" It was true, Sammy could be a real tomboy sometimes, climbing trees and getting as dirty as a young boy. She almost always had a scraped knee or elbow. But she liked to wear dresses, go figure.
"Well one of us is, apparently." Val looked around the room.
There was a knock on the door, and their mother entered the room. She looked...a lot younger, and was wearing a pretty dress herself. "Hello girls, I thought you might want a snack!" She was holding a tray of cookies that had two milk cartons on it.
Both girls shared a look of surprise. "Thanks, Mom!", they chorused.
Their Mother giggled, looking like a teenager. "You're welcome!" She hugged them both. "You're both so adorable!"
'This is weird, what did that wish girl do?', both girls thought.
Their Mom left after that, leaving two very confused little girls in her wake.
"What was that!? Mom doesn't even look old enough to be our Mom!" Val shook her head, as if to clear it.
"I know! And now she's super girly!" Samantha was in complete agreement.
"Well, there's nothing we can do about it now. Hey, these cookies are great!"
Both girls decided to munch on their snack, rather than ponder the mystery- it wasn't like they had much choice, they didn't even know the name of the girl who had changed them, let alone how to contact her.
So two little girls lived with their mother, in a cute house...until...
