As soon as her mother has exited the car and started towards the house, Lisa unbuckles herself and tries to push open the door. Only she learns that with her reduced age also comes child safety features. The door handle has no intention of letting her make her escape towards home.
Realizing she is once again at her mother's unknowing mercy, Lisa reluctantly climbs back into her seat and buckles herself in. The fact her mother left her in the car surely means that she can't be planning to spend much time here. Right?
Lisa stares at her mother begin chatting with Mrs. Fletcher and begins doubting that assertion. Too nervous to watch that scene or continue looking at the slow erasure of her badges any longer, Lisa closes her eyes and wills for her mother to develop a sense of urgency.
A sudden strange shifting around her eventually forces her eyes back open. She finds her booster seat has been replaced with a proper car seat and her uniform now is the blue tunic of a Daisy Scout. At best she's a first grader, though that's not much of an upgrade to kindergarten. Both are certainly preferable to the preschooler she will be if she doesn't get that watch at least.
Lisa leans forward to look for her mother and sees...
