There's no mistaking the Brownie Uniform Lisa is handed. She is offered no privacy as she pulls on the brown skirt and vest signaling she is currently somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd grade. Once dressed, her mother gives a final thanks to Paige and takes Lisa back to the car where she's returned to the booster seat.
After the car pulls our, Lisa watches out the window and sees step by step they're working their way through the neighborhood. Despite her distress at how extreme her youth has become, Lisa is beginning to relax now that home was on the horizon.
Her mind wanders to what she'll do when the watch is back in her possession. Unfortunately it only is supposed to go one way, so she's stuck reliving grade school, but maybe there's some things she can do to make the experience more bearable.
Maybe taking her siblings down to be around her new age will make things less awkward, of course she would have to make sure they never find out she was responsible. Getting Paige to join her would be great, except with Paige not remembering Lisa is supposed to be her bestfriend things may be tricky.
An unexpected turn breaks Lisa's thoughts, "Mom aren't we going home?"
"Gosh someone's in a rush to hang around the house today. Don't worry I just have to drop a couple things off at Mrs. Fletcher's first."
Oh no. The only person less concerned with wasting time than Lisa's mother is old Mrs. Fletcher. Lisa remembers plenty of "short" stops by the woman's home that have dragged on forever. For the rest of the drive there, Lisa stares intently at her vest and watches as badges slowly start to fade away. Wondering just how many she has left before she's demoted back to Daisy level, Lisa prepares to act.
