Dave was your average guy, there wasn’t really anything above average about him. He’s was an art student at his local college, he enjoyed drawing and painting and he was quite the artist. He’d been drawing ever since he was little, drawing anything he could find.
While he was in the bathroom getting dressed into some more comfier casual clothing he thought about what to paint on the new canvas he just bought. He wasn’t sure wether he should draw people or draw a lovely landscape. As he left the bathroom he looked at the canvas, it wasn’t huge but it was a decent size, especially for $10. He went to grab the canvas but as he did he slipped on the rug that was lying on the floor, he was about to get up but before he could he noticed his hand didn’t feel quite right. He looked up at where his hand was, but there was no sign of it.
He got up using the easel to help him, as he got up he saw that the canvas had already been painted on. He looked to where he was using the easel to help himself elevate and found that was where his arm had been. At first he looked in shock that his own hand was now painted onto the canvas. He tried moving his arm and to his surprise the painting moved with it. It was almost as if his hand had become a painting itself. He tried pulling his hand out of the canvas, it looked fine. Nothing was wrong, nothing had changed at all.
He wasn’t sure what to do next, wether he should call a friend or see if this odd canvas had any other secrets he should know about.
