As I was checking out the isles I found what looked like a regular magnifying glass. It was made of a metal handle/rim and the glass lens so it wasn't particularly exciting. I curiously took a look through the magnifying glass around and it didn't seem to be doing much of anything besides magnify my vision.
I was curious so I went to the front of the shop and asked the elf "Hey Miss, what's this magnifying glass supposed to do? Is it even magic?"
The Fey Elf said "It's a magnifying glass which is supposed to show you either what magical creature a person is most likely to turn into, or what person a magical creature was. It depends on which side of the glass you look through." Curious I decided to see what it'd do to an Elf and Looked at it where I saw a little fairy. Then I flipped the magnifying glass and saw a somewhat average woman. "So you want to buy that or just stare at me?"
One transaction later I was in my car thinking about what I'd do with the magnifying glass first.
