Luke looked at Suzie, then back at his parents.
“No offense to Suzie, but I’m not sure I could handle her 24/7.”
“Same.”
“But that doesn’t mean I’m not up to this. Would you two be ok if I did it with someone else?” Ethan and Alisa looked concerned. It just being their family made things easier. The more people knew, the more likely something would go wrong. At the same time, they didn’t want to force their kids into anything. Alisa finally sighed, looking at her children.
“Ok. But only if they agree to this, ok?”
“Ok. You want to choose someone too Suzie?”
“Maybe....” Ethan looked at Suzie, putting his hand on her shoulder.
“It’s ok. This is a big commitment.” Suzie smiled a little, reassured that it was ok to just say no. Luke meanwhile had ideas bubbling in his head. He could call Mark again. Then again he could get closer to his girlfriend if she liked the idea. Maybe his cousin? He just had to decide who.
