Harper smiled, lifted the camera, and took the picture. Harper was unaware that Olivia was accidentally in the shot.

Harper lowered the camera and gave a small smile. It was hard being a mother, but moments like this made it worth it. In front of her stood her two darling children, posing for her sake.
To the right was Eric, her 12 year old son. Eric had curly brown hair, freckles across his face, and an adorable smile. He was a little chubby at the moment, but Harper knew that it'd go away once he hit his growth spurt to become Harper's little man. He was wearing his favorite sweatshirt and jeans, looking at the camera with a smile.
To the left was Rebecca, Harper's 7 year old princess. She had long, straight hair with a reddish hue that Harper always figured came from her husband Paul's side of the family. She wore her cute pink dress, mary-janes and had her hair tied back in a headband. She was smiling as well, though looked a bit concerned for some reason.
Harper was about to ask her daughter what was wrong when a small nudge caused her to lean forward ever so slightly. She looked down and sighed. There, staring back at her, was her large pregnant belly. She didn't know whether it was a boy or a girl, but she giggled if it was a boy she could name it after Paul, and if it were a girl then Olivia... but she didn't know why.
"Mom, you alright?" Eric asked.
"Yes sweetie I'm fine, your little sibling is just doing summersaults in here. I'll be right back." She quickly replied before rushing off with the camera still in her hand.
Eric could hear his mother vomiting from the bathroom, but there wasn't much he could do to help. What really caught his attention was how the hell his mom had gotten a hold of the magic camera!
"Becky!" Eric quietly hissed. "Did you take the camera out from it's hiding place?!" He asked.
"No Eric I promise!" Rebecca replied sadly. "I'm confused too... di-did we change?" She asked.
Eric checked himself out, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but the fact that there was a picture on the table seemed to oppose that idea. He glanced at it to see both him and his bratty sister standing in the main room, smiling, nothing different at all.
"Look, there's a picture of us!" Rebecca gasped.
"Shush! Yeah I see that... so maybe we did, but the fact that we're still aware could mean it doesn't work on us since we know about it right?" He guessed.
"I mean... maybe..." She replied.
"No... no that's gotta be it! Yeah, we didn't change cause we own the camera and it wouldn't do that to us!" He convinced himself.
"But... what if Mommy uses it on other people, what do we do?" She asked.
"Easy, when she comes back, I'll ask fro the camera and then we'll burry it this time." He said sternly.
Rebecca wanted to protest like before, but for some reason she felt a lot meeker talking to her brother now, like he held all the power. Before she could mutter anything, Harper walked back into the room, holding her belly with one hadn't and the camera with the other.
"Ugh, sorry kids, this baby is doing a number on me." She laughed.
"It's okay Mom." Eric replied. "Say Mom, can I see that camera?" He asked.
"Oh you want to take my picture dear?" Harper asked gleefully handing Eric the camera.
"What? No I jus-" He began to protest but Harper ran right by him.
"Here, take one of me and Rebecca!" She laughed, holding Rebecca next to her as she smiled and Rebecca glared at her brother in fear.
Eric didn't want to transform his mother, but, he figured this could be a good test. If Rebecca changed, then it'd be a sign that they did change before. Of course, only he'd be aware of any change but they could cross that bridge when they got there. If not, then they'd just need to rapid fire pictures until their mom was back. To his 12 year old brain, the plan seemed fool proof.
He lifted the camera with a shrug.
"Say cheese." He said.
