Ethan took a deep breathe and walked toward what used to be her team, "Um, hey mind if I joined you all?"
One of his teammates Colin said "Sorry mam but... wait... Ethan? Man didn't recognize you in that dress. Feel free to join us, and your sister and girlfriend too." They were brought into the Pizza buffet, and Ethan ended up sitting next to Colin and Melanie. Ethan was happy his sister and Melanie was with her... She was feeling pretty nervous especially after sitting down right next to Colin. Ethan used to be one of the taller members of the team, but Colin just felt so much bigger now.
Colin asked "So you got the TF insurance real fast. I remember when I started getting so many rows of teeth like sharks... Took a long time to get insurance money for those braces that fell out of my mouth."
"Um... yeah... I mean it's pretty easy to demonstrate what happened and... I turned in front of everyone..." Ethan muttered.
Colin said "Now don't let that get you down dude. I saw the way you took the shot. It took an act of god to stop you from winning the game!"
Ethan got quite as she started nibbling on her slice of pepperoni thinking for a bit and saying "Well... I think I may stop playing altogether..."
Colin asked "Huh? Why?"
"It's... Well first I'd doubt I can stay on the guy's team... Second I think I just need to take a long break to get used to this entirely new form, and by the time I'd probably feel comfortable enough I'll be out of high school and I don't know if I want to restart in college." Ethan then looked down to her plate and saw that out of the two pieces of pizza she had picked out she had half of one left... Ethan looked to Melanie and asked "Are you done, I think I'd like to go..."
Melanie nudged Courtney and they got up and started to go, but another teammate came up. However Ethan feeling down didn't notice and kept walking as her sister Courtney grabbed it for her new big sister.
"Ethan, you doing ok?" Courtney asked
"No, especially since I don't feel comfortable right now... This body just doesn't feel right..." Ethan said crossing her slim soft arms together.
Melanie thought for a second and said "How about we have ourselves a little sleepover then? We'll just watch some movies together and you can talk about whatever you want." With a small sigh Ethan nodded as the three girls left for back home with a few bags full of clothes.
