Todd managed to pull free as Bruno's arms changed from floor tile to porcelain. Todd stared down at his body, everywhere his naked skin had touched Rick or Bruno it had become floor tile. He needed antidote immediately. He ran to find Coach Sanchez.
Sanchez was halfway back from looting Rick's locker his arms were full of cans of inanimation spray and reanimation spray.
"Help, coach! They were contagious! Spray me with antidote," said Todd.
"No can do, Todd. I read the label, the antidote can only be used a week after transformation or you may end up half human half inanimate. But maybe you can wash it off before it changes you?"
Todd turned to run to the shower room.
"Wait my private bathroom is closer. It's in my office, there."
Todd turned his head. This was his lucky day, he was right next to Sanchez' office door. He pushed it open and ran inside. There were two doors in the corner. The first was a closet. The second was an unfinished bathroom. Todd climbed into the grey concrete walled space that would be the tiled shower eventually. He thought maybe the plumbing was hooked up. It wasn't. He turned to face the coach who had followed him into the bathroom. He must've set the cans down on his desk because he now held one spray can in one hand and open catalog in the other.
"Coach, your shower isn't working?" Todd said in panic.
"Look at this, Todd, " Sanchez said holding out the open magazine.
Todd read, "Ultimate Shower Experience! 19 massaging shower heads, built in fan speaker light, steam shower, heavy duty antibacterial resin pod with clear tight sealing shower doors built in."
Todd looked up and opened his mouth to speak.
Coach Sanchez sprayed inanimation spray right in his face and all over his body. Todd retreated into the shower space. Too late he realized his error. He was melting to the wall, floor andceiling. He was becoming the Ultimate Shower from Coach Sanchez' catalog.
"Sorry, Todd. But I promise as soon as the shower pod that was back ordered comes in, I'll restore you. It should only be a couple weeks. And I won't restore Rick or Bruno until after I restore you," Sanchez said as he backed out the doorway.
Todd could feel himself merging with the plumbing. 19 shower heads, a steamer tap emerged from his now shiny black acrylic body. As he completely became the Ultimate shower, he felt himself connecting to the electrical. His interior light and fan came on. A small seat formed in the back corner, a pair of curved clear acrylic doors slid out of his curved black resin interior walls close with a Star Trek like hiss.
