You panic as the bidding begins, your eyes darting back and forth from every bidder, each more perverse looking than the last. But soon, the bidding comes near the end with what you assumed to be a large amount of money.
"We have 900 gold pieces folks, 900! Going once..."
"Um, 1000 gold pieces...!" a soft voice calls out. People look behind to see the bidder only to start cooing and doting on said person.
"Hey, if it isn't our favorite bun bun farmer, Sammy!"
"It's Sam! I didn't expect a bunny like you would brave the crowds!"
"Wow! But wait, that's a lot of money! Where'd you get that?"
The crowd parted a bit to reveal a meek bunny wearing a farming clothes that looked a bit baggy on him, including a tan work shirt with its sleeves rolled up to his elbows, jean suspender pants dusted with dirt, and a straw hat on his head with two holes for his rabbit ears to stand tall through. His fur looked soft and plush and was white like snow, though now it seemed to be puffed up a bit as the attention was now on him.
"Well... I mean it's actually my life savings, but if it means I can take him home with me, it'll be worth every coin." he says genuinely, earning a lot of "aw's" from the crowd.
"That's right, you're living alone now aren't you?"
"Sammy really needs some company now, doesn't he?"
"Alright then!" the auctioneer fox announces, "1000 gold coins then? Do we have any contenders?"
The crowd surprisingly seemed to be respectfully quiet, well at least for the ones who could possibly outbid the bunny.
"Going once... going twice... sold! To our resident cute dust bunny!" the fox announces.
The bunny known as Sam (or Sammy?) quietly walks up to the stage and meekly gives the fox his bag of coins, to which the fox chuckled at, knowing Sam's own coy nature compared to much of the anthro population there. When he goes up to take you, your body tenses in preparation of being lead away by the leash, but instead, you feel the bunny anthro's soft paw hand grasp yours as he leads you away from the stage, garnering even more coos from the crowd.
All things considering, you figured this was probably the best outcome with being sold as a slave, and you couldn't help but admit feeling his soft white fur and warm paw pads against your skin felt very nice.
