It wasn't long before Sam leads out of the city walls to the countryside of the hidden region where you see what appears to be his homestead with a fairly large plot of farmland where variety of vegetables are growing. You also notice that he lives fairly near the forest edge, but you couldn't tell if it was where you came from or not. Even if it was, you felt like you couldn't bring yourself to do so on account on how friendly this bunny man had been towards you.
He ushers you inside with a friendly wave and you enter his domicile. One of the first things you notice is how cozy it feels, with comfort apparently being a priority when the home was being decorated. Another thing was that the house was far larger than you realized looking at it from the outside, being big enough to house a small family.
While you look around, Sam takes the time to remove the leash from your collar, but not the collar itself before filling up a glass of water for you.
"Thank you for coming calmly with me to my home. Please, have some water while I go get you some of my spare clothes. You look simply parched!"
"Uh, thank you," you say, taking the glass suspiciously before taking a sip. Even despite your hesitation, you take a sip before sighing in relief as it was just water and nothing else. "Hey, could you, uh, take this collar off, too?"
"I'm sorry, but I can't. As much as I'd like to set you free, I could get in a lot of trouble if I let you go! I mean, I'm sure you might be able to do something if people trust you more...? Um, please don't get into trouble please!" Sam says flustered, as he clearly seemed to be unsure how to treat a recently purchased human slave. He runs up the stairs to fetch you his spare clothes, giving you time to explore his home a bit. You scratched at your collar, feeling as though there would be something about it that would prevent you from leaving the forest let alone remove it.
One of the first things you notice is a drawer against one of the walls which held quite a few picture frames, though some seemed to be empty. All of them had to anthro bunnies who clearly appeared close to each other. One was obviously Sam, but the other was an androgynous looking bunny you wouldn't know of.
"Thankfully I found some pajamas you can wear... Oh! You found my photos!" Sam says as he walks down the stairs with a set of pajamas in one of his furry arms, using his free hand to hold one of them. "This is me and..."
